Will He Dare?

“The Koran does not have an eternal origin. It is not recorded in heaven. The Almighty God, Creator of the World, is NOT its source. It is not holy. It’s writings are human in origin, a concoction of old and new teachings. This has been stated and restated for centuries by scholars since Islam’s beginnings, both Moslem and non-Moslem”

This is the second reason given by the Dove Church of Florida. Mr. Terry seems just an outspoken person who just throws out whatever comes in his mouth and this time he has tried to spit on the sun which obviously is going to mark his own face. Let’s scan both the Holy Quran and Bible specifically the New Testament as to see which one is divine and preserved in its text. The Holy Quran which is the latest of the revealed scriptures, is the only Book that itself claims to be the original, uncorrupted Word of God. It throws down an open challenge to all the religions and their followers to prove the validity of their Books and the attributes they bestow upon them.
Now let’s have a look on the New Testament. It contains the four Gospels that are evidently a narration about the life and times of Jesus Christ. Then there are letters and accounts by the disciples of activities of the Christians of the period.
The New Testament scores very low on the above criteria. There is not a single verse that claims for the Gospels to be the Divine Word. The various Gospels contradict each other in many places. The words of the same One God should not vary no matter how often they are repeated. There is a considerable controversy about the actual authors. It is debatable whether the disciples Matthew, Mark, Luke and John were the actual authors or whether the Books written by other devotees and dedicated to the names of the famous disciples.
The Council of Nicaea played a very significant role in the development of the present day New Testament and the Christian creed. When in 308 A.D. the Roman Emperor Constantine accepted Christianity, and found that in his realms alone there were more than seven hundred different manuscripts all claiming to be the only true Gospel by Matthew.
The Emperor also realized that all these books presented a very different portrait of Jesus Christ and his teachings, peace be upon him. The followers of these individual manuscripts were so devoted to their particular books, that already contentions, riots and disturbances due to rivalry were happening between the different Christian groups in the Roman Empire.
This was rather disconcerting for the Emperor so in 325 A.D. he appointed a Council of Nicaea consisting of fifty scholars. He collected all the manuscripts that were scattered in his Empire, and handed them to the council and commissioned them to formulate an official New Testament that presented a very consistent portrait of Jesus Christ and his teachings, peace be upon him. The copies of this New Testament were placed in various centers of his Empire.
The most foul act that the Emperor and his Council did was that they destroyed all the old manuscripts that were given to them. They wanted to eliminate for good all the possible bones of contention from amongst the people, thus, attempting to secure peace within the Empire. Some manuscripts of the Gospels existed in other countries but the Council of Nicaea and the subsequent Roman hierarchy branded these as Apocrypha or unacceptable.
Even in the present times each new edition of the New or the Old Testament differs from the previous editions and because there are no originals the text only convey the interpretations of the translators colored and biased with their own beliefs, sentiments and emotions.
On the contrary the Quran was literally preserved by being written on the hearts of people, as prophesied even by the Bible:
But this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days says the Lord: “I will put my law within them, and I will write it upon their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.”
(Jeremiah 31:33)
Moreover, the style in which the Quran was revealed is also in total conformity with Isaiah’s prophecy about the new law being revealed as:
For it is precept upon precept, precept upon precept, Line upon line, line upon line, here a little, there a little. Nay, but by men of strange lips and with an alien tongue, the Lord will speak to His people to whom He has said.
(Isaiah 28:10-12 Revised Standard Version Pub: Wm Collins & Sons, For British and Foreign Bible Soc. 1952)
The revelations were the actual words of God Almighty conveyed to the Holy Prophet, peace be upon him, by the Archangel Gabriel. God Almighty has made a very unique promise in the Holy Quran. He says We took it upon Ourselves to reveal this scripture and We have made it Our responsibility to preserve the purity and piety of its text.
That Divine Challenge put forth almost 1400 years ago is still valid today. The very fact that no other versions of the Quran exists is overwhelming evidence of its Divine protection. M. Bucaille in his book The Bible, The Quran and Science testifies to the above facts and some excerpts from his book follow:
“If we now examine the teachings of Muslim exegetes, we shall see that they present the Qur’an in quite a different manner. About fourteen centuries ago at a meditation retreat near Mecca, Muhammad received the first message through the Archangel Gabriel. After a long period of silence, the first message was followed by successive revelations spanning a period of some twenty years. They were not only transcribed while the Prophet was still alive, but also recited by heart by his early followers and later by the many believers who had gathered around him. After his death (i~ 632 A.D.), the various elements were brought together in a book, henceforth known as The Qur’an. It contains the Word of God to the exclusion of any human addition. The manuscripts we possess from the first century of Islam authenticate today’s text.”
“Islam has its equivalent of the Gospels in the Ahadiths. These are the collected sayings of Muhammad and the story of his deeds. The Gospels are nothing other than this for Jesus. The first collections of Ahadiths were written decades after the death of Muhammad, just as the Gospels were written decades after Jesus. In both cases they bear human witness to events in the past.”
“There are no scientific errors in the Quran.”
(The Bible, The Quran, and Science, Pub. Seghers, Paris)
The absolute accuracy of the Bible can be best described by quoting from the preface of the Revised Standard Version, which describes it as the most probable reconstruction of events based on the best judgment of competent scholars.
(The Holy Bible, RSV Catholic Edition, Catholic Biblical Association of Great Britain, Pub. London Catholic Truth Society.)
The Quran, on the other hand, stands alone in its absolute authenticity. Its accuracy is beyond the slightest shadow of a doubt. This fact has been corroborated by many independent researchers and can also be verified today through comparison with one of the first written copies.
Now will Mr. Jones according to his own established rule dare to touch the Bible? (God forbids, I repeat here that we honor all the religions and their Holy Books but just to show people the real face of evil trying to create disorder in the world, had to quote such sentences.)

  1. Prof. F. N. Lee’s “ISLAM IN THE BIBLE”

Eminent Australian theologian and church historian known worldwide as Professor Francis Nigel Lee (who has eleven earned doctorates!) has found claims in the Koran that may have escaped the attention of many Muslims including those in the White House.
It’s amazing how often in history someone notices an unclear passage in the Bible, sees possibilities in it as a wellhead, isolates it and then backstabbingly uses it against the Bible’s intent while developing an anti-Biblical cult or false religion!
Dr. Lee quotes the Koran which claims that when Jesus promised that after His departure He would send the Holy Spirit to be personally with His followers as the “Comforter” (John 14:16, John 15:26, etc.), Jesus was actually promising He would send them Mohammed! (Aside from the blasphemy, has history shown Mohammed and his fanatical followers to be “Comforters” of human beings?)
Another quote from the Koran that Dr. Lee reveals is that the disciples of Jesus viewed themselves as “Muslims” – centuries before Mohammed was born!
To read Dr. F. N. Lee’s scholarly and informative article, type in the “Islam in the Bible” pdf article associated with him. Interestingly, leading Christian scholars for many centuries have viewed the 9th chapter of Revelation (with its references to a violent army of 200 million who torture mankind in earth’s final days, the centering on “the great river Euphrates,” and the connection to demons loosed from “the bottomless pit” who inhabit this army) as a scary portrait of Islam murdering, in a short period, one-third of earth’s population, as is explicitly stated there!
Readers may also wish to Google “Imam Bloomberg’s Sharia Mosque” and “Michelle Obama’s Allah-day” since these two items have been in the news lately.

(caught the above article while I was webbing – Cherry)

    1. dear Cherry, its nice that you read and thought about it, Professor Francis Nigel Lee seems unaware or the nature of the religion. let me explain it for you;
Allah says in the Holy Quran:

“… Those who follow the Messenger, the Immaculate One, whom they find mentioned in the Torah and the Gospel which are with them.” Al-Quran 7:158)

No doubt there are many prophecies regarding the advent of the Holy Prophet Muhammad in the Bible, but in the above quoted Quranic verse, the Torah and the Gospels are especially mentioned; because Moses and Jesus were prominent figures among all Israelite prophets.
Muslims look upon the source of Bible as holy and divine and its medium as truthful men. And here is a verse of Al-Quran which confirms this statement:

” Say ye: We believe in Allah and what has been revealed to us, and what was revealed to Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac, and Jacob, and his children, and what was given to Moses and Jesus, and what was given to all other prophets from their Lord. We make no difference between any of them; and to Him we submit ourselves.” (Al Quran 2:137)
Professor Francis Nigel Lee has delibratly skipped the point i guess!
Of course, Muslims regard the Christian Scriptures as interpolated, and but interpolation still implies retention of some original truths. and that is the nature of every divine scripture!
now i will tell you what the Bible actually says about the comfortor, that is b’coz the learned professor Lee may have skipped things from the prophecy too:)
      The prophecy runs as follows:

“If ye love me, keep my commands. And I will pray to the Father and He shall give you another Comforter. That he may abide with you forever; even the Spirit of truth.” (John 14:15-17)
“But the Comforter which is the Holy Ghost whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things..” (John 14:26)
“Nevertheless, I tell you the truth; it is expedient for you that I go away, for if I go not away the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.” (John 16:7)

“I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth; for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak; and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me.” (John 16:12-14)

According to the prophecy: The Comforter, the Spirit of truth, “will guide you into all truth”. The Holy Prophet Muhammad was the only prophet who claimed to have brought the complete teachings through the Holy Quran about which Devenport Says:

” The Quran is the general code of the Muslim world; a social, civil, commercial, military, judicial, criminal, penal and yet religious code; by it everything is regulated; from the ceremonies of religion to those of daily life; from salvation of the soul to the health of the body; from the rights of general community to those of society, from morality to crime, from punishment here to that of the life to come.”
According to the prophecy: the Comforter would not speak of himself but “whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak”. The spirit descended upon the Apostles at Pentecost was not the Comforter who should not speak of himself, for this spirit broke even the body in which it dwelt. “Me, I, my, we, ourselves” were words uttered by Peter, John, Phillip, James, and by twelve when they assembled together. Hence, the words of prophecy cannot be twisted to the Holy Ghost, which was given to them already as is clear from John 20:22 — “And when he (Jesus) had said this, he breathed on then, and saith unto them. Receive ye the Holy Ghost.”
Moreover, the Holy Ghost, being the third person of the Trinity, is a co-partner in the God-head and has a fair claim to at least one third of it. Why, then should it be reduced to the status of a recipient, hearing anything from any other person. It is, on the hand, the active agent imparting words to others who should communicate them to mankind. Obviously, the passage refers to a man inspired by God, who will transmit to others nothing beyond what is revealed to him. “He doth not speak of himself, but it is the word of God that is revealed to him” says the Holy Quran (53:4-5).

The Comforter is repeatedly spoken of in the Bible as the “Spirit of Truth” and it may be observed here in passing that the word Comforter cannot, by stretch of fancy, be twisted to fit in with the Holy Ghost, for nowhere in the Bible is the latter called the Spirit of Truth. Furthermore, Jesus speaks of Him as another Comforter. Jesus himself, of course, was one Comforter. The other Comforter foretold, therefore, must also be mortal like himself.

The Quranic picture is the same in this respect when it proclaims the advent of the Holy Prophet thus: “Qul Jaa’al Haqqo Wa Zahaqal Baatilo, Innal Baatila Kaana Zahooqa” — Say, the Spirit of Truth is come and falsehood is vanished. (Al-Quran 17:82)

      1. Now i will come to what u said ironically that the followers of Muhammad (saw) are comforters?
        my simple answer to you is “yes” those who follow Muhammad (saw) are the real comfortrs for thw world, i invite you to come and see the Ahmadiya Muslim Community in Islam whose moto is “Love for all, Hatred for None” and you will find the true Islam the religion of peace and harmony. Islam says;

“There shall be no compulsion in religion, for guidance and error have been clearly distinguished; so whoever refuses to be led by those who transgress and believes in Allah, has surely grasped a strong handle one which knows no breaking.” (2.257)

Islam supports no Violence. Those who will not follow the teachings of Islam will trun out to be like the terrorists and that is the same what happend to Christianity, the people of the cave, if Prof. Lee has read the history too, These Christians were persecuted for 300 years, the amphitheatres intended for gladiatorial combat with bulls and lions. It was in these places that naked Christians were thrown to hungry wild animals. The animals howled and made short shrift of the defenseless Christians. Sometimes these ‘apostates’ were thrown to bulls which had been starved for several days. The starving creatures bellowed and snorted and, with hissing screeches, attacked. The Christians were gored or trampled to death. And after this festival of blood, the laughing Romans returned joyfully home. The ‘apostates’ had been fittingly punished. But while the Christians’ legs trembled, their hearts beat strongly with faith in God.

Their persecution went on intermittently for three centuries. And when they found no place to hide, they fled underground to the catacombs. These long labyrinths exist today even, and CHERRY these people who did it were not carryning the name of Islam!

In medieval Europe, the so-called followers of Christ(as) he popes and the prelates, cardinals and canons, and the elders of the Church wrote a chapter of terror into the history books. St Augustine called it ‘righteous persecution which the Church of Christ inflicts upon the impious’ . Today’s Christian historians admit that this ‘righteous persecution’, inflicted in Christ’sas name, was a disgrace to the Church.

Madame Tussaud’s waxworks museum in London has a strange, moving and terrifying exhibition of this persecution. Its walls are lined with waxworks of famous and infamous people. Its Chamber of Horrors is a kind of underground dungeon. On display are the death-masks from the guillotined heads of Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette, which were personally cast by Madame Tussaud. There is an authentic gallows with other instruments of torture: pillory, stocks, whipping-post, ducking-stool, iron maiden rack, galleys, bed of Procrustes, cross, gibbet, halter and many others. Some exhibits are so gruesome that they are covered with screens to keep them away from children and squeamish adults. And all this was not done in the name of Islam but Christ (as). Islam did not guided the atoms landing on the people of Heroshema and Nagasaki, Hitler was not a Carrying Islam and i can name a lot of prominent figures in the History of Violence who were not Muslims!
So my dear these are the people who are against the religion so they take the support of Violence, they are not Muslims nor Christians but some beasts in Human disguise, so one is Terry Jones who is spreading hatred in the name of religion!!

  2. I am sorry, I never knew you were blogging too.

As you know, lack of words is one of my ugly taints amongst the thousand others.

    Yet I call upon my all abilities to assert the fact;

You are adorable more than anybody in the realm of blogging for the reason that the burden you resolved to take upon your shoulders demands nothing but gallantry. The theme is lofty and sublimity dwells therein.

On the other hand, people like me are covetous of fame pursuing the ignoble affairs of this materialistic world.

    You stand out!
